Do you take book donations?

We are not accepting book donations at this time.

When will my order arrive?

At the moment, we are working with a smaller staff and are only able to fulfill orders on a limited basis during the week. We primarily use USPS to ship out orders—either priority mail or first class. Depending on where you live and which service is used, you can expect your order to arrive in 1-5 business days from the moment it's shipped. We encourage you to place orders early if you need your items by a particular date or take advantage of our Local Pickup option if you live nearby.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Currently, we charge a flat rate of $5 for shipping within the continental United States. Higher rates may apply for orders sent to Hawaii or Alaska.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We currently do not ship outside the United States.

Am I able to pick-up my order in person?

Yes! We offer curbside pick-up on the 5th Street side of the Library. You can see our dates and times on this pageWe will inform you of schedule changes, but if you have a question regarding your pickup you can email us at [email protected].

When will The Library Store reopen? 

While Los Angeles Central Library is physically open on the first floor, The Library Store remains closed to in-person shopping. We offer curbside pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am – 3pm. In case of closures, holidays, or other events, please see our Curbside Pickup page for full details and updated dates and times.

How can I sell my products at The Library Store?

We're happy to hear from new vendors and local artisans! Please email us at [email protected] with a link to your wholesale website or catalogue. 

What is your return policy?

Items can be returned to us within 30 days from purchase. We do not accept returns of used, damaged, or consumable items. Returns made from online purchases must be shipped back to us at your own cost in order to process your refund. We may provide return labels if you wish to exchange an item for a different size or if you received the wrong item in your order. You may also return items to us during our Curbside Pickup hours.
