$ 25.00

Chastel was a professor of Art at the Sorbonne - he supplies short explanatory texts that accompany each work of art and illuminate the late Renaissance.

66 tipped-in abundant full-colour plates. 231 pp. White endpapers. Beige cloth with gilt titles. Artists included: Bosch, Botticelli, Durer, van Eyck, Fouquet, Ghiberti, da Vinci, Mantegna, Robbia, Rouen, and others.  Oversized hardcover.

Book is in very good condition, with most of the wear on the plastic over the dust jacket and not the book itself.
